February 14, 2018 — The World Federation of Chiropractic has widely been known as the international representative of Chiropractic, with associations in over 92 countries to represent the profession on a global scale. Since it’s inception in 1988 in Sydney, Australia, this organization has sought to bring together chiropractic associations from around the world to have a unified voice on the world stage, with close relations with the WHO (World Health Organization) and others.
In partnership with Standard Process and NCMIC, the WFC has recently released it’s Suggested Reading List for Chiropractic–a comprehensive online resource that gives access to current research, texts and articles from top journals across the profession.
With this resource, you can search by topic/condition, and view information on guidelines, safety, mechanisms and even economic and professional impact studies.
Our personal favorite is the Sports Injury section of research papers, curated by US Chiropractor, Stephen M. Perle DC MS ICCSP and featuring contributions from our very own Australian FAKTR instructor, Henry Pollard BSc DC MSportSc PhD ICSSP.
When you have some time to “nerd out” in the research, this is a great resource.
